CDL Driver – Two major positions
Front Loader Refuse Truck Driver
Operate heavy equipment. Must have a basic understanding of how to service machines or detect problems with equipment. Equipment pre-checks required, responsible for maintaining equipment. Awareness, attention to surroundings, and strong work ethic required. Ability to load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers. At least one year experience in heavy equipment operation required.
Must have physical strength (ability to regularly lift 30-50lbs), hand-eye coordination, and endurance; concentration and communication skills, ability to use necessary hand tools and equipment; respectful and cooperative attitude.
Must be able to complete container deliveries as they come in. Understand and adapt to ever changing delivery requests and locate customer accounts based on an address sent from dispatch. Ability to haul singles and doubles, drive standard, navigate to customer locations, and deliver/pick up containers on narrow roads and in tight spaces without causing damage to equipment or property. Must be able to load, unload, and bind down any heavy equipment being hauled. Perform routine maintenance checks and daily pre-checks of trucks and report any mechanical problems.
Assemble or fabricate parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment. Utilize handheld tools such as a hand held screw gun, drill gun, and grinders. Operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tool. Maintain weld machines using preventative maintenance methods. Regularly lift 30-50 pounds. Regularly perform repetitive tasks. Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately. Experience Required.
Inspect trucks, excavators, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment for proper performance. Adjust equipment, order and replace faulty parts. Repair damaged equipment parts. Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty vehicles. Perform routine services on fleet vehicles.
